Additional information about me:	MY PERSONAL DESCRIPTION: Just a nice Greek guy....I think....: ) I grew up in a small town just 2 hours away from Athens.I moved to Athens a couple of years ago,cause I found a job here.... For one year I was living with a Greek Colombian guy that I met during my 16month mandatory service in the Greek Army.He was the funniest roommate ever. Yes...funny guy and a good friend...: ) On my 2nd year in Athens,I bought the apartment we lived in..and my roommate left cause he got engaged... After that I didn't have anymore roommates.... I think I prefer living alone... (Hosting people is different...I prefer hosting......) I enjoy living my bachelor life at the moment....and I like my place. I always try to make it feel more comfortable to me.. I'm... generally speaking...a quiet person. Rather shy when in a company of many people. Even with people I know... I'm more talkative and active in small groups.... I like keeping things tidy and clean at my place.. I like order.....I hate complete chaos......... Maybe it's cause of my army service...I don't know... ............................................................................................................. HOW DO I PARTICIPATE IN "ROOMFT.COM"..? I would like to meet mature,open-minded and liberal people that wanna have fun....People who just want accommodation and want to be left alone, at least let me know from the beginning..... I've hosted many people so far......and I think I'm getting addicted to it... Unfortunately cause of my job mostly I don't have much time to travel.I try though. But anyways.. hosting people is also very,very nice....cause it's like you're on vacations also... It's fun to share another persons excitement about visiting Athens and Greece in general. It almost makes you feel like an ambassador. MY TRAVELING EXPERIENCE: At the United States....and Germany, Austria as well as Turkey already.... I enjoyed visiting Turkey cause I was curious about this country since I was a little boy... All these wars between Greece and Turkey and our common history as well as cultural exchange have always been fascinating me.. I would like to visit more places in Turkey since the last time I was only in Istanbul. I also hope I get to travel to many more places.....and meet many more people from all over the world.... It's fun... I hope I get to travel to many more places.....and meet many more people from all over the world.... PLANNED TRIPS: I would like to visit neighboring countries like Albania,F.Y.R.O.M and Bulgaria. I would also like to host people from these countries and of course from Turkey also...Let;s not forget them... Anybody from Turkey is more than welcomed at my place... And guess what...? My uncle Ahilleas,who lives in the same neighborhood as me,grew up in Istanbul,speaks Turkish and likes having conversations in Turkish. I can't blame him...I have to admit that it's a beautiful language.... So...what are you waiting for...Come over....!!!!!!! MY INTERESTS: Movies,music,graffiti,video games(My favorites are Strategy like games)....comic books... Art in general.... I also love Mythology as well as History..... Not only Greek...but Global...It's so interesting. I was always fascinated by ancient cultures and lost civilizations,etc. I absolutely love going to the beach for a swim. It's a good workout...and a good place to hang out with your friends... I enjoy long walks...and interesting conversations.... I prefer going out with my friends in small bars...not very crowded places.... But..every now and then,if I'm in the mood I can even go dancing in a big club.(I'm not the best dancer in the world..but I got some rhythm.I play drums after all..). And of course....I enjoy flirting and meeting cute ladies...After all....I am a guy..: ) I love women..really. You know what they say...You can't live with them...Can't live without them... PHILOSOPHY: Sometimes life seems good.....sometimes bad....... No matter what happens to you.....you're gonna end up being a much more complete and mature person in the end.... In other words...don't worry..be happy..... I wish I could be happy all the time and not to stress about things..I wish....but...Life is strange sometimes.. I try to live my life in a liberal and open-minded way...especially when it comes to relationships and dating.I declare POLYAMOROUS, and a big fan of POLYGAMY..and OPEN-RELATIONSHIPS. I wanna enjoy life to the full before I get old..have as much fun as possible..and I also wanna meet people that think like me... I have mixed feelings and thoughts about everyone and everything...even people that want to hurt me...intentionally or unintentionally. Sometimes people can be cruel and mean...Even if they don't do it on purpose.... I just get the feeling that whatever you do,even if your intentions are good....people will find a way to misinterpret your deeds...and make you feel bad. I'm so jealous of children sometimes. So innocent. MOVIES,BOOKS,MUSIC: I especially enjoy horror movies...... Really,I'm a horror movie junkie. As for music.....I like everything.....that has drums..;D From traditional to classical music. I'm afraid I'm not into books so much...? Do comic books count..? When I was younger I used to collect comic books like crazy..I have a whole bookcase full of comic books back in my parents house...I still try to resist from making my collection a little bit bigger. TYPES OF PEOPLE THAT I ENJOY: Musicians!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And especially traveling performers... If you play any instrument at all you are most than welcomed at my place. I would like to meet musicians from all over the world. Especially if you're a busker.... come over,and we can play music together with the small rock group that I practice with..or even better perform together in the streets of Athens... I know the best places... Generally speaking........I enjoy people, that enjoy my company....definitely..... I like meeting all kinds of people....Men and Women... Straight or gay....whatever... as long as we get along..I'm not sexist or racist...(I'm straight by the way,just to make things clear...) Even if I meet someone and decide that we just won't get along..I don't have a problem offering accommodation as long as they tell me that they only want free accommodation and nothing else...It's understandable... I don't think that is possible for everybody to get along with everyone....because of cultural or individual differences....so...sometimes is better to interact only as as much as needed in order to avoid misunderstandings,quarrels and disagreements.....and always with respect and aiding mood for the other person...MUTUAL RESPECT is the key....You have to respect the other person no matter how different he or she is from you.. That's one of the first things that I learned serving in the Army and the Air Force...besides discipline of course...Respect for the others...and how to be tolerant and patient....but that's another story... A very annoying thing is when some girls pretend to be flirting with me in order to get free drinks...or a free dinner...or just to prolong their staying at my place..: (..I call this PROSTITUTION... It's disgusting how some women can take advantage of a guy's excitement and love for the opposite sex.. It's even more awful when they make the guy,the bad person of the situation. I've met a few tricky and cunning little ladies like that.... Shame on you girls... ; ( On the other hand.... I can't believe that some ladies are extremely conservative and shy....to the being of being prude... Can it be...In our time and age....? I'm the exact opposite...and also very flirtatious..and that's why I'm writing all this...to avoid misunderstandings that can come from a joke....or a silly compliment or just a comment.I prefer hosting open-minded people that have a sense of humor.. Finally.... One other thing I really hate....is when some people think they know everything..compare you to other people...and expect too much from you.... I can offer a lot...to a fellow traveler..but that doesn't mean I'm GOD...I'm just an ordinary guy...... I have bad and good days....I have my problems like everybody...Sometimes I'm in a bad mood...sometimes in a good mood....But even in a bad mood....I will try to be as helpful and polite as I can.... That's the right thing to do.... And.. That's the law of Ksenios Zeus. "Zeus" was the King of the Greek Gods...and one of his many nicknames was "Ksenios"....cause one of his laws was to treat all foreign visitors and guests like you would treat your family..... ............................................................................................................ So far....I met some pretty amazing people... I made friends,lovers,acquaintances..and..enemies rarely.(Thank God..: ) With most people you get along...with some not.... But if you got along with everybody that would be a utopia...and boring. I'm very thankful that life is providing me new experiences with each new member I meet.... Even though that sometimes means trouble and misunderstandings....cultural and language barriers are always a challenge, and that's what makes it fun.... In the end... you become a better person through having all these experiences..... ............................................................................................................ SOMETHING COOL THAT I'VE SEEN OR DONE..??????? Can't tell ya......too shy about it.............; ) If... you know what I mean....: ) Even though the first impression you'll get out of me is that I'm shy....I actually had the pleasure of meeting many,many girls in my life that think like me.... Girls that like to enjoy life and..SEX,which is a part of life...It's a basic need,just like eating,sleeping and drinking. Whether some people like it or not..... Some people think of sex as something EVIL.....like something that you only do in private...something you don't talk about... I don't understand that....but I have to respect their opinion.As they have to respect mine... MY OPINION ON THE "ROOMFT.COM": I think that this is a great idea...... You can meet interesting people....from other countries.. Actually you can meet all kinds of people...: )...but it's fun.... Make new friends... Have new experiences.... Go to great parties.. Save some money...when traveling... Ask for help when needed....from the all helpful members... And of course... definitely enjoy your vacations.... Additional information:	OK... I live in a flat apartment....with 2 bedrooms..... I got 2 beds(bank bed) in my 2nd bedroom.......and 1 in the hallway.......... I installed all those beds for when my family is coming over for a visit....Mom..Dad..and 2 brothers...... They rarely visit though.... So...It turned out pretty handy for accommodation. INFO & HOUSE RULES: 1.I live in Sepolia...an area near the center of Athens....... 2.I don't have any flat mates. 3.I got an extra room available....air conditioned, with a T.V.....and a small balcony. 4.I don't smoke......but it's OK if you smoke....... 5.No pets are allowed in the building...sorry...: ( 6.Don't worry about having fun......Many shops,bars,restaurants in my neighborhood........ 7.My flat is 5-10 minutes away from the Metro Station...... 8.I admit I'm a busy man,but I will do my best to show you around or at least make your staying at my place pleasant. 9.I usually stay up late............ 10.Anytime is good for hosting...weekends...weekdays...whatever. 11.I got everything in my apartment,don't worry about blankets or towels.You can bring yours if you want though.... 12.How many days can you stay...???....hmm...... It depends on how much fun you are........ 13.I would prefer it if you don't use the kitchen while at my place....but if you really have to,because of a low budget travel plan, please let me know. 14.Try not to use many electrical devices at the same time while at my place....or at least ask me before you do in order to avoid short circuits. 15.You need to warm up the water before getting a shower. You turn on the boiler....wait for 30 min and then you take a shower.... Don't leave the boiler working all day long....It's expensive..... 16.Due to the lack of a good sewage system.....no waste papers should be thrown inside the toilet...Use the waste bin inside the bathroom.... 17.In order to flush...you press the button upwards.... 18.If you break something....I'm sorry but you have to pay it........ 19.Wireless Internet access is also available at my place...You can bring your laptop or use my computer...There are also many Internet cafe places around my neighborhood. 20.For any other questions please...don't hesitate to ask.........
