Hastings, is one of the main holiday resorts on the south coast, and a must visit for holiday makers the site of the battle of Hastings, the house is two minutes from both the town centre and the beach, and within walking distance from the country park Good rail links to both London and Gatwick airport. Or Newhaven and Dover for the ferries.Hastings is a cosmopolitan town and there is always something to do, be it listening to live music, at one of the many bars or the jazz lounge on the seafront (sadly the pier that hosted the likes of the stones/floyd/ and many of the top bands of the sixties and seventies is closed), watching a show at the white rock theater, or just a walk along the seafront which has both bottle alley and boasts one of the earliest underground car park (sidney little)
