In this Privacy Policy, references to "you" means any person submitting any data to us or to this Website about himself or herself or about any other living individual in respect of any use of the Website or the service available through the Website ("the Service"). References to "your party" means anyone who is your travelling companion or an occupant of your home.
When you use different aspects of the Website, we may ask you to supply us with various information about you, your property or anyone who you represent. This Privacy Policy sets out the way in which we may use such information.

Data that we collect

If you agree to take part in the Service and want to be a traveller or a host, we may publish certain information (by any means and in any media including on the Website) about you and your party on the Website so that you can be potentially matched by someone else. We do not upload all of the data about you and your party, but we shall not be responsible if any third party misuses that information. By using the Service, you agree to our use of the data about you and your party in the ways described in this Privacy Policy, the Terms and Conditions and on the Website from time to time.
We may use your contact details to respond to you any queries you raise with us.
We may email you with your password if you tell us or the Website that you have forgotten it.
We may also use your data to send you feedback forms to complete about us or other users, and to contact you over any aspect of the Service or the Website (including, but without limitation, providing customer support, ascertaining information about disputes, preventing or investigating prohibited activity, enforcing the User Agreement and verifying information).
We may send an email on your behalf to any other person using the "Tell a Friend" facility, but you shall be fully responsible for having authority to send that email to that other person.

For example, we may send an email to your webmail address through the Website if we know that our business partner has an offer that may be of interest to you because of where you will be at the relevant time (such as a car hire offer on a special deal in a particular country where you are travelling). That business partner may also send to you an offer directly to your webmail address through the Website, but we will not disclose any other data about you to that business partner (other than your Website username, Website webmail address and the fact that you fall within a category of persons who may be interested in their offer).

Within 7 working days of receipt of your instruction we will cease to send you information as requested.
